Bibb Medical Center celebrated the opening of its newly renovated and modernized Emergency Department (ED) on February 25, 2026, marking the completion of an 18-month, $5.5 million investment in the future of emergency care in Bibb County.

Bibb Medical Center is proud to recognize Burkes Mechanical for its generous $450,000 contribution through the Alabama Rural Hospital Investment Program. This investment is helping expand local healthcare services, including the planned opening of a new dialysis center in 2026, bringing essential care closer to home for our community.
